Jay Kattel founded LUME Partners with a mission to help companies achieve their full potential. With over 18 years of experience in small, medium, and large organisations across private and public sectors, Jay specialises in business transformations.
Having grown up in four countries, speaking three languages, and attending ten schools, Jay brings a unique ability to see problems from multiple perspectives and deliver practical, adoptable solutions.
Prior to LUME, Jay was the Chief People Officer at Guzman y Gomez (GYG) and was part of the executive team that helped list GYG into the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). In his role at GYG, he set up the people function, the strategy and workplan for GYG leading into the ASX listing and post the listing.
Jay also worked as a GM at Coates (Formerly Coates Hire), Australia’s largest equipment hire business prior to GYG. In his time at Coates, he helped redesign the Coates branch network to improve efficiency through a hub and spoke model, increased Coates Training revenue by 250% in FY23, remodelled the talent acquisition function through new tech platform and reduced time to fill by 10%. Through the work he led, Coates was recognised with 3 industry awards (NSWICC partner of the year, VET industry partnership award and NAWIC Major winner - Crystal Vision award).
Jay’s public sector experience includes Director roles leading the merger of Transport for NSW and RMS impacting 30,000 employees, creating the roadmap to establish a new state-owned corporation, remodelling numerous service delivery models and project managing implementations of multiple ERP systems.
Jay also has experience in business analysis and project management having led numerous projects across IT, Audit, Risk and Compliance and Service Management within a PMO.
Jay is tertiary qualified with a Bachelor of Business. In addition to his bachelor's degree, he has completed the Company Directors Course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Diploma of Project Management and Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
Outside Jay’s professional experience, he is married and has two beautiful kids. He enjoys travelling and adventure sports.

Ben Robinson is an experienced People & Culture professional and Organisational Development consultant with expertise in leadership development, business transformation, and both leadership and career coaching. With a career spanning both the private and public sectors—including FMCG, retail, government, not-for-profit, and financial services—Ben brings deep insight into organisational change, talent development, and strategic people initiatives.
As a coach, Ben is passionate about helping individuals and teams unlock their potential, drawing on a strengths-based, evidence-driven approach. His experience spans leadership coaching, culture transformation, capability uplift, and career transition support. Ben has worked with executives and emerging leaders across industries to navigate complex workplace challenges, enhance performance, and drive sustainable change.
Beyond coaching, Ben has led large-scale change initiatives, supporting organisations through restructures, engagement programs, and leadership alignment strategies. With a strong focus on business outcomes, he applies data-driven insights and human-centered strategies to achieve measurable improvements in performance, engagement, and workplace culture.
Ben holds a Master of Business in Human Resource Management and a Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching & Leadership. He is also an accredited Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and holds certifications in Human Synergistics LSI/GSI.

Mark is a Senior Consultant with LUME Partners. If you need a partner to help you improve your sales or operational capability and efficiencies, look no further. Mark brings a wealth of experience across entrepreneurship, sales, operations, safety and trades.
Mark’s childhood spanned across four different countries across three continents with three different languages. Mark is a motorsport, Off-road 4x4 enthusiast and amateur kart driver. His love for aviation has also led to acquire his private pilot's license in Helicopters. He holds qualifications in Fabrication Engineering and Work, Health and Safety.
Prior to LUME Partners, Mark’s operational experience includes several Senior Operations Leader roles for leading structural steel manufacturers.
His operational experience also included as a business leader in a multinational third party Logistics operator.
Mark’s sales experience spans across telecommunication, household goods and property. He worked as a Senior Sales leader in a B2B capacity for Vodafone and a property developer.
Prior to his sales experience, Mark owned and ran a successful distribution and sales business for a leading household goods wholesaler across NSW.

Faikah is a master facilitator, coach and trainer. With a Master’s in Adult Education, a Graduate Certificate in Training and Development and accreditations in LSI/GSI and HBDI, Faikah brings a wealth of insights and practical experience gained from working for organisations such as ING/Mercantile Mutual, Telstra, RAMS Home Loans, Aussie Home Loans, Kimberly Clark, Westpac, Vodafone and Transport for New South Wales.
Faikah has led teams (including remotely-located teams) in Learning and Organisational Development with specific remits in Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organisational Change and Diversity and Inclusion. She has coached and developed leaders at all levels from Frontline management level to Executive level. Highly competent in instructional design, her core strengths are facilitation and coaching and Faikah is known for the energy she brings to her work, engaging with her participants by appealing to both head and heart while staying focussed on business outcomes.
